Brindl respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. It's a violation of our Terms of Service to post content you don't have the rights to. This page explains how to report copyright infringement and how we respond.

Filing a takedown notice

If you believe content on Brindl infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at dmca@brindlrow.com that includes:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and enough information for us to locate it (a direct link to the listing, profile, review, or other content).
• Your contact information - name, address, phone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you're the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

We'll remove or disable access to material that's the subject of a complete, valid notice, and notify the user who posted it.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to dmca@brindlrow.com that includes:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, to jurisdiction in Indiana), and that you'll accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content in 10-14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action seeking to keep it down.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.

Misrepresentations

Anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that content is infringing, or that its removal was a mistake, may be liable for damages under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
